The diagnostic interview is a session that is conducted for everyone seeking counseling or psychological evaluation services with Dr. Starling. During this session, you will have the opportunity to share information about what has lead you to seek services, complete questionnaires, and answer diagnostic questions. After this interview, the next steps will be to do one of the following:

• begin the steps to participate in a psychological evaluation
• establish a therapeutic counseling relationship that is short-term and solution-focused in our office
• receive provider referrals to address presenting problems with other providers outside of our office
