Congratulations on making it this far in your journey to become a professional counselor. Your supervision time as an LPC Associate in the state of Texas is your opportunity to practice what you’ve learned. I sincerely hope that your time as an associate is a wonderful learning experience. While I do not offer opportunities for you to get hours onsite, I look forward to the opportunity of working with you as your LPC-Supervisor as you continue to grow as a competent, confident and ethical professional counselor. If you will be working at a site that does not provide onsite supervision, please feel free to contact me.

Starting a Private Practice?

If you’re planning to start a private practice and use that as your setting to accumulate your hours, I’ll provide supervision for LPC Associates providing counseling services in the following and surrounding cities:

• Grand Prairie, TX
• Arlington, TX
• Mansfield, TX
• Fort Worth, TX

(If you prefer virtual supervision, I’ll provide supervision outside of these cities, but let’s discuss how we’ll navigate this before beginning supervision.)

Virtual Supervision

Do you prefer to meet virtually for your supervision sessions? While I provide supervision in-person in my office, we can also meet completely virtually. This is ideal if you are in one of the following situations:

• You’re providing services in a rural Texas area or in another place in Texas that is not close to Arlington, TX.
• You have a busy schedule and meeting virtually is more convenient for your schedule.
• You’re looking to start a telehealth practice and want to practice conducting all business online.

LPC-Supervision will be conducted using a model that employs the roles of teacher, consultant and encourager within a developmental framework. Together we’ll review your counseling cases and discuss aspects of professional counseling (i.e., theoretical orientations, diagnoses, ethics, etc.) including private practice if this is one of your career goals.

It’s important to me that you have as much information about supervision with me as possible before making your decision, so I offer an initial no-fee 30-minute meeting after gathering some information from you.

Supervision Cost

$400/month ($100/hour)

Cost includes: 

 – 4 one-hour individual supervision sessions a month

 – consultation as needed for urgent issues between sessions
