Psychological Evaluation
Psychological evaluations are typically conducted for adults and children to either confirm or rule out diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, attention, memory and focus issues, and learning problems. Additionally, some primary care physicians and surgeons may recommend that you get a psychological evaluation as apart of or condition of your treatment.
In my office, psychological assessment is provided for individuals with various psychological difficulties including cognitive, emotional and behavioral related symptoms for children, adolescents, and adults ages 8 to 64. Psychological evaluation services are typically offered for the following issues/concerns:
- ADHD (Children, College Students, and Adults)
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Eating Disorders
- Intellectual Disability (IQ and Adaptive Functioning Testing)
- Learning Disability Testing
- Memory
- Pre-Surgical Evaluations (Bariatric Surgery and Surgery for Pain-Related Issues)
After all information is gathered for the psychological evaluation, clients (or parents of minor clients) will receive a report that includes test scores, my interpretations, a summary, and treatment recommendations. You will receive an estimation of the time it will take to complete your report before the psychological evaluation begins.

Please Note: I specialize in conducting evaluations for solely the therapeutic reasons as outlined on this page. I do not specialize in conducting evaluations in the following cases: court-appointed/mandated evaluations, divorce, child custody, probation, legal cases, or disability benefits. Because I believe you deserve a psychologist with an expertise in these areas and knowledge of these processes to assist you, I will provide referrals for these cases.
